A lot of times when we get assigned reading in textbooks I basically put myself to sleep reading the boring content, but this book is written well enough that it keeps your attention and I find that even though it is required for me to read, I would probably read it otherwise. I am an psych major but I'm taking an intro to social work course and it is very, very interesting. Definitely a good read.

I got the examination copy which is essentially the teacher's copy. It still had the same information but it was annoying because the description didn't say what type of copy it was. Overall the quality of the book looks brand new, and it is an easy read. It gives you the basic information about social work but it's a good introductory book, although it didn't feel like a college level written textbook. it's definitely a social work 101 type of book.

Not many rips, no tears. It was in good condition when I bought it. I knew it was going to be used, so I was expecting some highlighting in it. It didn't bother me at all.
