i bought this for my friend for her birthday and she loved it. great quality. the smooth pages are great and its a very thourough book.

The book is basically a picture with brief descriptions underneath and for a new guy trying to replicate his realistic effects its very frustrating as I find myself at a loss at how he does it. Probably better suited for an artists who have learned how to texture already. The book does have some nice points to create depth and on shading values amongst others but if you are new like me try something else.
