John Fincher has not had the public attention that, I think, he deserves. His work is original and quite beautiful. The prints in the book are beautiful.

If you have been to Santa Fe over the last 30 years, you should have seen John Fincher's work. He shows at LewAlllen Contemporary, is included in all the museum collections, has a large painting in the Govenor's mansion, and is conidered one of the modern masters of Southwest American Painting. His paintings of the landscapes, trees and skies of New Mexico are incredible. He captures the special light and vision of a very special place.

This book, designed and released by Radius Books (if you have not checked them out, they are publishing the most incredible art and photography books being released, the books are objects of art as much as the artwork included on the pages) is a must for any library or book collection. A painters' painter, John Fincher is one of the masters whose works entice, enthrall, and draw one into his luscious world of oil sinewing across canvas. This book should be in the libraries of all collectors who admire compelling work created by an artist who still understands the tools of the palette and the dynamic abilities of color.
