Henry L. Carroll (born December 15, 1947 in Orangeburg, South Carolina) was the son of Bill Carroll, who trained horses at New England racetracks. Carroll holds a degree in History from Newberry College
Henry L. Carroll holds a degree in History from Newberry College. Having ties to thoroughbred horses through his own father and eager to get back into the world of racing, Carroll obtained his racing license in 1972. He has been breaking and training horses ever since.
Using the pseudonym Lewis Carroll . These factors may have contributed to Dodgson’s beginning to entertain the children of Henry George Liddell, dean of Christ Church.
Using the pseudonym Lewis Carroll, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson published the novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in 1865. At Oxford, Lewis Carroll befriended Alice Liddell, the daughter of the dean of Christ Church. They had been preceded or were overlapped by the children of the writer George Macdonald, the sons of the poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, and various other chance acquaintances.
