good selection of activities, broken down into macro skills; good selection for different levels; good companion to "Zero Prep for Beginners."

The book condition is not good...

This book has 128 pages plus a few in the back for notes. There are 7 chapters, Icebreakers, Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Structure. It is designed for ESL, not ESL and foreign language. There are a few activities that could be used for foreign languages (which is why I bought it.) Most of the activities are designed for adults, not middle school or high school students. I saw only two 2 overlapping activites with the Zero Prep for Beginners book.

I just attended a workshop based on the book Zero Prep last night. The workshop was presented by Laurel Pollard, one of the authors of Zero Prep. She demonstrated several of the techniques in the book. I tried two of them today in my class and they worked like a charm. This is an excellent resource for stressed out teachers!
