The book reads well. This is the second book of the series, but you can easily pick this up and start here if you wanted to. There is a small love triangle that I don't personally think needs to be in it. it feels like that is a secondary struggle to keep one specific character involved.
I would recommend this book to others if they enjoy the genre. I do not think someone who has never read a fantasy novel would think it is engaging enough to get them hooked on the series.

A fun continuation of the Luthien story. Not R.A.'s best work , though it has moments in which you see the greatness on his literary horizon. If you liked Book 1 you want to read this one, as well!

If you like R.A. Salvatore, you will realize that some of his earlier works are better. This trilogy manages to have the same flavor as the Drizzt books, but it is actually quite better in forms of description and plot. Here's hoping that Salvatore revisits this world again!

R A Salvatore is one of my favorite authors as his books are chock full of action and the characters well developed and a easy to follow plot with some twists built in. I love the way he describes fight scenes he's the best and you can picture in your mind
