Description

The Apprentice Adept. Book 4. by Piers Anthony.

The Apprentice Adept. The two young men dived into the pool. Mach struck the water more precisely and got the lead, but Rory splashed harder and caught him a third of the way along, then drove ahead for the victory. Panting and ruddy-faced with his effort, he laughed as Mach finished. Slowpoke! Mach shrugged. He had expected to lose, because his power was produced evenly; he could not put forth that extra surge of energy for a spot activity. However, neither did he tire; he could maintain a similar pace indefinitely. Had the race been longer, he would have won.

Out of Phase" was a good book but it wasn't as interesting as the rest of Piers Anthony's Blue Adept series. The flow of the story was a little awkward at the beginning but it did get better further on in the book. I loved his Xanth series and found The Apprentice Adept series was to be a close second. So, I originally read this book way back when was I was in college, but that was so long ago that it was like reading this book for the first time. And let me say this, boy, oh boy, am I ever glad I did. Piers Anthony is a wizard at writing highly entertaining stories.

But she did not sleep; she spread herself out deliberately thin, so that she could flow beneath the heavy glass barrier that formed the front of the cell. ly tight, but the floor was not precisely even, so there was not a perfect fit. The crevice was only a fraction of a centimeter, but she could navigate i. he did so. Then she formed herself, outside the cell, into the likeness of one of the attending serfs she had studied for this purpose

If Terry ever decides to visit Diskworld or collaborate with Neil Gaiman, I fear my head will explode in my 1at visit.

Author: Piers Anthony. Stile had problems on two different worlds. On Proton he was threatened with murder, and on Phaze, an alternate world ruled by magic, he had to master magic, fight a dragon, win the friendship of a lady unicorn, locate his enemy among the paranoid Adepts and return out of Phaze to win the Great Games on Proton. After that, he was ready to face the real problems! Contents.

Piers Anthony's books are filled with misogyny, rape apologism, racefail and paedophilia. Take And Eternity, the seventh book in the Incarnations of Immortality series. frankly i think this plot was taken out of context, this was a story told by one character to another, a story implied to come from her own passed. obviousely the author was trying to show the mindset, emotional roots of the female lead. in her prespective, the villians were those who took away the only person who showed her affection.

This was the first book I read out of the series and loved it...but now I want to be able to read it on Kindle. So far all I see is the first three books of this series available and nothing else! So my review is for the availability and not the book itself.

I was very moved by this book. The extremes that these characters would go through for love moved me so much. Anthoney's descriptions of all details qualifies him as one of the best authors in the world. I love the way Science and Fantasy colide to make loads of adventure. This book has everything from androids to cyborgs and unicorns to werewolves and Citizens to Adepts. Your wildest dreams come to life in this wonderful book.
As always Piers Anthony delivers! Yet another great in the Adept series.

A page turner for sure. Enjoyed it! Yes!
