Blood of Heaven book. This book was fantastic. Its the first in a trilogy that easily qualifies as som eof the best Christian fiction that has ever been written. Bill Myers is a master of Christian fiction that shows us the heart and personality of God as well as the truths about ourselves all within a suspensful, compelling story. Dec 12, 2007 Laura rated it really liked it. It was probably one of the first Christian Suspense books that I have ever read.

I was so blown away by Myers The God Hater, I picked this one to read next. I love his forays into science and tech, and this premise is fascinating. The whole issue of nature versus nurture when it comes to people with violent tendencies is so interesting. Science has pretty much proven there are differences in the brain when it comes to ordinary people and violent offenders. Can violent people change? Can they help themselves? If it is something physical they have no control over, can a cure be found? Love this premise, and Myers is a great writer.

This is a great read! Full of emotion and edge of your seat action as well as food for thought regarding the subjects of faith and science. I would recommend this especially to young adults facing a hostile world.

One of my favorite books. After my accident in 2000 all I could do was sit and read books. A friend let me borrow this. I finished this series within a week. I liked it so much I recently bought this and reread it again.

A very believable, compelling novel that is the first book in the "Fire of Heaven" Trilogy (I definitely recommend all 3 books!). The author does a wonderful job of integrating science and spirituality in this writing that revolves around testing the DNA of the "God gene" by injecting the DNA into cold blooded murderer, Michael Coleman. When Michael Coleman is given a new identity and sent to live with a single mother and her young son, the plot quickly thickens keeping you on the edge of your chair for the duration.

This is quite believable given the pace of genetics research. It is also believable given the baseness of some humans in their greed. While it is not quite the story line I usually favour, I have to say this is very suspenseful.

Fast paced. Enough twists to keep it interesting. I have read Myers before and enjoy his books. Intriguing even if some predictable areas.

Since Jesus was fully man and fully God, just what might His blood contain that is different from an ordinary man? What would modern science make of such knowledge - or make out of it? This book with its very interesting story line provoked much thought regarding the meaning of - the blood of Christ.
kind of slow but ok
