Slave of Sarma Blade Book 4. Chapter One ^┬╗ It had been misting all day and, asLondon 's lights began to go on early, a dark brown fog crept in from theThames. Pavements were shiny and treacherous, slimed by fallen leaves. It had been in Lord Leighton's family since he could remember. There are a few loose threads to the two previous works and I must say that I can't wait to read the sequel called Slave of Sarma. I hope that that one is better than this one. But this book was still a solid read. This is the first volume in the 37 book Richard Blade series, by "Jeffrey Lord" (these books were actually written by authors Roland J. Green, Ray Nelson, and Manning Lee Stokes). True enough and I would amend to include a healthy dose of Edgar Rice Burroughs for good measure!

The pseudonym of Jeffrey Lord has become an American institution in of itself almost over the many years since its first conception. With a number of different authors writing for the label, it has built a life of its own as the face of the ongoing ‘Blade’ series. Running for quite some time now, it has seen a whole variety of different names put themselves to the long-running franchise of novels. Working under a house pseudonym it was a series that was run by a collective of authors who managed the franchise over a number of years.
