Cd was fine as expected. Story was blah.

This is a solid Doctor and Lucie story as they find themselves in Nazi-occupied France. Lucie encounters the star of a show know for dying on stage thousands of times. She's shocked when she finds the deaths quite real.

Overall, the Scapegoat is a solid outing for the Eighth Doctor and Lucie. The script has just the right mix of horror, comedy, and drama to work. It uses its settings and Nazis to good effect. Sheridan Smith brings a great performance that shows both the comedy Lucie's capable of as well as a few deeper moments.

Things could have rapped up a bit more neatly. Still, this is a good entry in the Eighth Doctor Adventures Season 3.

The latest entry in the 8th Doctor adventures find the Doctor off course (so what else is new) and landing 50 years too late in Occupied Paris rather than 19th century Paris.

There the Doctor and Lucie find Nazi's (of course), a newly working Chameleon Circuit, and an alien race that is into rather violent theatre and an unhealthy interest in Miss Miller.

The 3rd season continues to be strong, storywise, acting and plotting. The Doctor / Lucie relationship continues to inspires great stories on a regular basis.

Can he novel the Nazis, recover the Tardis, sort out the Aliens and prevent a bloodbath?

If this keeps up the incentive to subscribe might become too overwhelming to resist, but until that time, I suggest buying this one.
