This was such a good read I read it twice. It’s a great story with some wonderful beekeeping ideas and really made me feel special that I’ve got such a relationship with my bees.

A surprise of a book! Beautiful narrative through the unexpected secret world of an ancient druidic order. I have always had great respect for bees, but this made me want to keep them and make it into a ritual. I felt transported back in time to a place where ceremony and spirituality were unpolluted by politically religious dogma. I felt the world of Northern England and wanted to be a part of it.

I liked the book, because I'm a bee keeper. I understood all the information about the bees. Some of the shamanic rituals took a little more thought. Overall, I enjoyed the book.
