After declaring all answers amiss he would make this statement; The best kept secret of The Mormon Church is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Over the years of teaching gospel doctrine I have found his statement to be all too true. Despite their best study efforts and the abundance of scriptural resources, many members do not understand some fundamental and extremely important doctrines. Gardner was born the son of a US Air Force career pilot, he has traveled and lived in many places. He holds a BA degree in Art from Brigham Young University and has studied in several film schools including California State University at Sacramento.

In Christianity, the gospel, or the Good News, is the news of the coming of the Kingdom of God (Mark 1,Mark 1:14-15). The message of good news is described as a narrative in the four canonical gospels. The message of good news is described as theology in many of the New Testament letters.

Our Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take upon Him, by His suffering, the sins of all who would live on this earth and to overcome physical death. there is always something to be learned in books like this. I don't agree with the author on everything but he makes some good points

This book had me jumping out of my seat at one point, until I researched a statement . In my opinion the author was incorrect in his conclusion. I found a definition in the footnotes of the B of M to mean something very different than the author and I never finished reading it. I would love to discuss it with him but don't have any contact information.

This is a book for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the most part.

It's an excellent book and worth reading. I've spent decades learning some of these same truths by the Spirit, the scriptures, and the words of the prophets. I was delighted to have a number of those things confirmed here by Gardner in a style that is clear and understandable.

Great book that takes the basic principles and expands them using Joseph Smith's teachings...the Kindle edition is well worth the price

Just a note to the reader--This is not the Laurence Gardner who wrote such books as "Bloodline of the Holy Grail", but Lawrence D. Gardner, a writer of Mormon literature. This is not to say that his book isn't of interest, but if you are looking for material concerning the bloodline of Jesus, the Priory of Sion, and so on, be sure that you have Laurence Gardner, not Lawrence D. Gardner.

I gave this three stars because I had to give it a rating. As I haven't read it, I can't rate it good or bad.
