It is hoped that the volume will prove a sufficient guide both to the Courts and to the individual members of the Church in the discharge of their duties and the 'care of their interests. It will serve also to exhibit the developed working Of the Presbyterian System, which our forefathers established on the great fundamental principles laid down in the New Testament for the Church of Christ.
