Reading a new Deets Shanahan is like meeting an old and trusted friend. There's an instant feeling of comfort. It's great to get caught up. And you know you're in for an entertaining evening. In this latest adventure, Deets travels to Bankok looking for his long-lost brother whom he had pretty much given up ever finding. And in the meantime, Deets' friend Howie Cross gets in a double dose of trouble after repo-ing a car. This is one of the better mysteries of the year with two plots that work separately, but then mingle expertly. A great addition to the Deets Shanahan canon, This book is fun, entertaining, and very suspenseful. I'm already looking forward to the next Shanaha mystery.
