A very good read, with Romance, mystery, action aplenty. Lots of history and very current. And Freemasons are the good guys doing what we are supposed to do, defend the Christian religion.

I put this book down after about halfway thru; the technical inaccuracies were just to distracting and unbelievable. My advice to the author is to spend a little bit of time researching the military, if you are going to write a book revolving around military members. Here are just a few examples:

* West Point Cadets do not date Army Medical Officers, or any officer for that matter.
* There are no RA's at West Point, it is a military college.
* The Korean War was in the early 1950's, the story takes place in the early 2000s, at a minimum, maybe later. Do you really think that the Army has Generals on Active Duty for 50 or more years?
* One character graduates from West Point, and four months later is off to Afghanistan, having completed, Infantry Officers School, Airborne School, Ranger School, and Helicopter Flight School? Seriously?

I could go on and on, next time the author should seriously consider submitting his draft to a few reviewers prior to publishing.

This book will put you right to sleep. Worse book I've read on Templars or Masonary.
Infantry Officer Basic is three months long, Airborne School 3 weeks, Ranger Sch. 8 weeks and an instant deployment "highly unlikely". Drinking in the Lodge is a good way to be dropped from the Masonic Community.

This is an entertaining, short read, action/thriller that makes many factual references to the history of the Ancient and Free Masons. For the road warrior whose work takes him across country frequently, this is a great book that will keep you engaged and awake for the duration of a 3-4 hour flight. Especially recommended for members of the Masonic Lodge, but a good read for anyone that appreciates the story of good vs. evil.

This book was definitely worse than having monkey feces thrown at my face, but better than being forced to eat my own vomit after a night of binge drinking.
