Description

The Sherbrooke Twins are part of the Bride Series. If you have read the previous Sherbrooke book, I strongly recommend following the series, even if one or 2 books may not be as good or well-written

The Sherbrooke Twins are part of the Bride Series. Unfortunately I love the series so much I got ahead of myself and instantly listened to this. If you have read the previous Sherbrooke book, I strongly recommend following the series, even if one or 2 books may not be as good or well-written. At least, you get to read about the rest of the family members & their interesting friends (connecting characters in the stories). Lastly, I wish very much that Ms Catherine Coulter would continue to write about regency & histrical romances instead of focusing solely on contemporary romances.

I just couldn't give the story a five, because of the ending. I'm a romantic.
Ms Coulter described the the twins beautifully. If you read them in a story, you would know they belonged to Douglas and Alexandra. The addition of Corrie was wonderful. The stories of the three when they were young was endearing.
Ms Coulter's since of "wit" is superb and hope there's more coming.

The Sherbrooke Twins are part of the Bride Series. Unfortunately I love the series
so much I got ahead of myself and instantly listened to this. I forgot that there is an
order to the series. It did not deminish the story, it was exciting and very climatic,
great ending, it had me holding my breath. This story lingerded with me and left
me thinking for awhile. I jumped to the set of stories and found that I had jumped the
gun. You know what who cares? It was enjoyable and my only recommendation is
try to keep the Bride Series in order.

It is good of Catherine Coulter to continue the series and wrote about the sons & daughters of the Sherbrooke family & brothers. The Sherbrooke Twin is light-hearted reading with some twists to the plot. The resident ghost - The Virgin Bride - of the Earl of Sherbrooke (Douglas Sherbrooke, who was the heroe in the 1st Sherbrooke series - The Sherbrooke Bride) told the earl's wife that the Earl is in danger. Then the plot / story involves Douglas's twin sons - James & Jason - and the romance of these 2 sons.Basically, the main hero & heroine or romance story is about the Jamesand Corrie (James'childhood friend). It also sets the story or character built for Jason, his encounter in this story that leads to him having his own story in the next book - Lyon's Gate.

I like this book because it gives the Heroine - Corrie - a plucky character although it will be better if Ms Coulter did not write Corrie as someone who sneers alot. I like it that she made Corrie as a young girl of 18 years to be able to fend for herself, to shot straight, and is not a typical helpless / whimpering female. Also, itis good of Ms Coulter to still give someweightly parts to Douglas Sherbrooke. It is also good to read up on past characters in previous books.
