One of my favorite authors. Always a good read.

This collection of short stories, sixteen in all (storylines are described in the above review) are like samplers. None of them gives you the full effect of an Aird story but just tease you with a taste. The problem is that none of them has the time to stretch out the narrative and descriptive abilities that Aird is famous for. Therefore I recommend that you pick up one of her books and make you decision as to her readability from the whole source.
