I thought about the stuff I’d put in my keepsakes bag. Some photos. A spelling bee trophy. A bunch of nature books. A clay statue of Crenshaw that I’d made when I was in second grade. My worn-out copy of A Hole Is To Dig. I thought about Crenshaw and the surfboard. I thought about the purple jelly beans. Mostly, though, I thought about the signs I’d been noticing. I am very observant, which is a useful thing for a scientist to be. Here’s what I’d been observing: Big piles of bills.

Aisha's old boyfriend and first love, Jeff calls her and tells her that his rapping is taking off. He now goes by T-Bone and is opening for Salt-n-Pepper and Queen Latifa in a benefit concert on Halloween. Aisha invites the whole gang to go on a road trip to Boston for the concert. Aisha's purse is stolen and she gets knocked out in her old neighborhood. She has amnesia and thinks she's fourteen again. Nina's car breaks down and she and Ben are lost in the middle of nowhere. Claire(a.k.a. Weathergirl) meets Sean(a.k.a. Flyer) over the Net. Claire meets Sean and is in for a big surprise. Jake gets drunk with Lara, Zoey and Ben's half-sister. What will happen when Zoey finds out the truth about what really happened between Lucas and Claire? Will Aisha get her memory back? What's going on with Zoey's parents? Will Jake realize he has a drinking problem? Will Claire quit the ice princess act? How will Nina and Ben get home safely? Read and find out! P.S. The series does not end with no.8 this time. Zoey Plays Games is the next book.

My first line may sound pretty corny, but it's the truth! Man, if there ever was an EIGHT book series I wouldn't mind reading again, this would be it. Aisha is one of the islanders near Maine along with her friends Zoey, Lucas, Jake, Nina, Claire, Ben, and Christopher. I just finished reading this book yesterday and started sometime last week. I hate reading, but this book got my attention. It ends the series with a series of events pertaining to the other books in this series and wraps everything up. You first have to start with "Zoey Fools Around" (first in the series), otherwise you won't know what the heck is going on. If you miss even ten pages of this book, you will be so dazed you have to go back. Then you'll never want to skip any pages ever again. This series is perfect for both girls and boys. It isn't corny or childish. Actually, this book shouldn't be for anyone over 13 years old

OK, I definetly agree with what the "one reader from canada" had to say. This was definetly one of the better books in the series. But I do have to say that i like Benjamin and Nina together. The whole thing about Aisha not wanting to tell Christopher about what happened in the past, was kind of inevitable. I mean if she is going to take him to a concert where her ex-boyfriend is gonna be, things are gonna be brought back from ole memory lane. I do wish that Claire had stayed to tell the real Sean what she was thinking. Instead of being her usual shallow, self-serving self. Ok my two cents!!!

I like the amnesia storyline; however, instead of having her believe she was fourteen again. The storyline would have really been great if she did not remember anything. Ben and Nina are my favorite couple and I just loved what they went through. The situation with Jake, I thought was touching and awsome. I can't entirely blame Claire for her reaction, but yet I really felt where sean was coming from. Whether Claire likes it or not looks does matter. But, Sean could have been honest about who he was. The best way for someone to accept you for who you are, is to know the real you flaws and all.

I'm on #9. I read these books like I need air. I inhale books(as my mom says), but I really LOVE these. It takes me 2 hours to read one of these books and I die for more. I've sat with 5,6, and 7 and read them all in a day. I love them and any girl who is sick of the yuck of trashy romance, turn here. They're aren't trash, but still give ya some kissy action!
I think this series is the best reading ever, Thank You Katherine Applegate, They make life so much bearable I am on book 13 and still eager for more, please keep writing them, they are great. All teenage girls should read this series, as it is a great insite into other teenage lifes and the problems faced by them.
