This is the 7th and final book in the tomorrow series and i think john marsden did an excellent job with the whole series, the storyline and characters are both of things i loved from this story! I wish it was more popular because this book is one of the best ones to come from an australian writer that i know of! . That said, the scene still makes me shudder, all these years later. I read the last 75 pages with tears in my eyes.

I guess because it wasn’t a troop train. I landed pretty heavily. The train was grunting away at a slow pace, but it was quite a drop from the bridge, and there wasn’t much to break my fall. Just a layer of coal about thirty centimetres deep. I dropped vertically but at the last second twisted sideways, and put a hand out, mainly trying to save my bad knee.

The seventh and final novel in this gripping internationally best-selling series. The lone band of teenage survivors face the final battle against the brutal army that has destroyed their country and murdered their friends and family. At last, an end to all the pain and suffering is in sight. The group of teenagers, led by Ellie, prepare to face the enemy one last time. Great book to finish out the series. Some of the interim books seemed to stretch out the series, and grasped a little for story line. This book has a lot of enjoyable action, some gripping realities of war, then really wrapped things up well (as much as I can say without spoilers). Probably my second favorite book in the series, right behind the first (Tomorrow, When the War Began).

This series is wonderfully written. The characters are so well drawn that you feel you know these people. And though war is an intrinsically dark subject this is an enjoyable read. Mr. Marsden wriTes with great insight, expressed beautifully. And as the daughter of a rancher I can testify to the accuracy of his writing about the pragmatics of ranching. I recommend this series without reservation.

I read all of the books in this series, and must say I enjoyed them all. It had a great story, great characters, and I enjoyed the fact that it gave is a view of the world down under. I thought the final book did a good job of pulling together all of the story lines. Well done.

John Marsden is one of my favorite authors. His work makes the characters realistic and keeps you on the edge of your seat in adventure. This book arrived in excellent condition, was shipped well and quickly.

Rounded of the series well with drama action and reality of moving on with life after the war. As has been tried, the sequence of the books would make a great beginning to end movie and a tv series, the latter of which failed badly on ABC

Why didn't Ellie parents whant to now about more about there exp.?
I think, there Parent now, what she and her friends went throw. And there dont
find it necec. to ask her about to open wounds again, there will help her daughter to close the inner wounds. But iam pretty sure, her parents was reading her notes, what she was writing almost every day and saw the recording.

So, this is the reason ( maybe ), why her parents dont wanna ask her about.
There was so much build up from the rest of the series and all of a sudden the war was over. Other than that, it's quite a realistic portrayal of what could happen to people during and after a war and how it changes them. Well done
