My kids are tired of reading it, but sometimes I read it anyway. I love looking at the camping scene. Perfect book for very young ones ...

When you are little and not tired when you go to bed, what do you do? Use that incredible imagination you have been given an play with your toys! Each animal has a turn at suggesting what they play: trains, acting, ghosts (not scary), flying, monsters (not scary) etc. Each game is played until the one who suggested it falls asleep. The young child is the one left at the end and he realizes that he is now tired so snuggles up in bed with his toys and goes to sleep.

Beautiful, beautiful illustrations and a unique "rewrite" on the usual "Ten in a Bed."

My 2-1/2 year old son loves this book. He likes to sit in bed while I read it, and then go to sleep with the book in bed next to him. I think he likes it so much because he sleeps with several stuffed "critters" just like this little boy does. Great pictures, not a lot of words, very cute book.

This is the ideal bedtime story book. The text is simple and repetitive, always popular with little kids, but the pictures are full of detail and great to talk about. My son and I have spent a lot of time going through his copy, finding each toy on every new page and chatting about what they are doing.
